Softball Board

The STMAGFA Board’s work starts in the fall before the next season. Tasks include:

1. Preparing flyers
2. Processing all registration forms including potential coaching candidates.
3. Providing “open gym” opportunities prior to tryouts.
4. Coordinating background checks on prospective coaches.
5. Scheduling and executing the tryout and team selection process.
6. Preparing instructors, purchasing jerseys and team equipment, and other items related to the Coaching Clinic.
7. Scheduling pictures for all teams.
8. Scheduling and facilitating the STMA Spring B-C Tournament including field preparation, concessions, acting as tournament director and umpire coordinator.
9. Soliciting sponsors and seeking fundraiser opportunities.

Board meetings are open to the public. Please contact the Board if you are interesting in attending or want to be added to the agenda of a meeting.
