Coaches Selection

We need help from our parents as head coaches, assistant coaches, practice helpers, and enthusiastic fans to make our league, and your daughter’s summer, fun and enjoyable.

A pool of potential coaches is generated during the Registration process. Coaches are selected by the board based on the team their daughter was placed on and discussion by the board. In the future, we look to have an independent selection process.

It is important to remember that you, as a coach, represent your family, team, and community. Sportsmanship and creating a positive learning environment for your team is vital.

Each coach (head or assistant) will undergo a background check (no additional cost).

Each coach will also sign a Code of Conduct

coaches will be evaluated during the season with a feedback form. Forms can be returned to the Board at any time during the season, via the email or mailing address located on the form. We need to get feedback from our parents to improve our program and your child’s experiences!

Coaches are not paid by the STMA Girls Fast Pitch Association.
