The mission of the Saint Michael - Albertville (STMA) Girls Fastpitch Association is to provide a program for STMA area girls to learn fastpitch skills, build confidence, and enjoy the benefits of being on a team while having fun! There are 2 programs available: In-House League and Travel League.
In-House for Kindergarteners through 3rd grade gives players the opportunity to play two nights a week (Monday and Wednesday), with practice one night and a game the other. Practice starts mid-May with the first game early in June.
For girls ages 10U through 16U interested in a more competitive level of play, a traveling league is offered. Each participant is expected to attend all practices, league games, and weekend tournaments. Emphasis is on skill development, teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship, and respect for others.
Late sign-ups will only be accepted if there is room for more players on teams. A late fee of $20 will be charged after registration deadlines. For In-House, there are no refunds after games start. For the Travel League, there are no refunds after teams are selected. All card transaction fees will be deducted from all refunds.

The STMA GFA Financial Assistance Fund is used to provide financial assistance to participants that demonstrate a financial need under the provisions of this program. STMA GFA will determine a dollar amount that will be set aside as a financial assistance fund. These funds will be used to help offset player’s fees that, because of financial reasons request assistance. Funding for the program comes from additional budget dollars designated for financial assistance at the discretion of the STMA GFA Board.
