STMA In House League/East Wright County Fastpitch League

10U, 12U, 14U In House Program Details

6U In House

6U players born in 2017 and younger. Cost is $95 (includes t-shirt/jersey)

Our 6U In House League provides an excellent opportunity for players to be introduced to fastpitch softball. Learning the fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship, being a good teammate, and having fun are the goals at this level. The league plays two nights a week, typically Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Practice starts in May, around the first week, but it is dependent on how soon spring arrives. 6U teams play some league games against area associations: Rockford, Rogers/Otsego, Buffalo.

In House teams are in need of coaches and assistant coaches; the goal is to have one head coach and two assistant coaches per 6U In House Team.  There will be training opportunities for coaches to attend before practices begin to help guide practices.  If you are interested in coaching, please indicate this on your player’s registration form.

On picture day, a $150 deposit/check is required as a deposit for DIBS/volunteer hours.

Each 6U family is responsible to complete 2 DIBS/volunteer hours; once the hours are completed the deposit/check will be destroyed.  If DIBS hours are not completed by July 31st, the check will be cashed.

All 6U players are required to purchase 3 fundraising cards ($20 each). You will receive those cards to sell within the community. Once you sell the 3 cards you keep the funds collected

Games start Thursday, May 16th

Our 8u In House program will use the blue flinger pitching machine during all games. There will be no player pitch or coach pitch during games. 8U will play their regular season on Monday and Wednesday nights, with practice one night and game the other.  Practice starts in May, around the first week, but is dependent on how soon spring arrives.  Our 8U teams will play a year end tournament which is played at the end of June. Please do your best to attend the tournament; the tournament helps the girls develop skills and build excitement for the game of softball.

In House teams are always in need of coaches and assistant coaches; the goal is to have one head coach and two assistant coaches per 8U In House Team.  There will be training opportunities for coaches to attend before practices begin to help guide practices.  If you are interested in coaching, please indicate this on your player’s registration form.
