STMA Travel 14U

Our STMA 14u Program was started in 2019 to give STMA athletes an opportunity to continue to play softball in STMA. Our 14u and older teams are run like club teams only in the sense that they will be open to players from other communities. If someone from outside STMA tries out for our program, they must qualify and make an A level team or higher, or they cannot play within our association. Aside from that, our 14u and older programs will look similar to what our 12u programs do with the addition of some off-season programming. Once teams are formed, they will participate in fall ball and the following summer league seasons, along with off-season practice dates. Dome ball, off-season tournaments, and off-season training, at an additional cost, will also be offered. These will be encouraged (but optional) to allow girls to participate in other sports that do not take place during the softball season.

2025-2026

Our STMA 14u Program was started in 2019 to give STMA athletes an opportunity to continue to play softball in STMA. These will be encouraged (but optional) to allow girls to participate in other sports that do not take place during the softball season.

Players will be expected to attend all scheduled practices and games during the regular season (May-July). By accepting a roster spot on a team, you will be expected to make this team your first priority in regards to sports participation. Participation with family, school, and religious commitments take priority and can be worked out with your coach. If you have conflicts during the fall season, please communicate that with the STMA GFA board as soon as possible.

Volunteer Requirements:
Parent volunteer hours are a requirement for each player in our program. the requirement for this year is four (4) hours per player.

Each player is required to have a credit card on file in Crossbar. If your volunteer hours are not completed, you will be charged $400 in replacement of your volunteer hours.

If you do not wish to complete the volunteer requirements, you may buyout of the volunteer requirement during registration for $400.

Please also note the NEW no show/cancellation policy found on the "Volunteer Requirements" page.

Fundraising:
As many of you know, each year we do one fundraiser, our discount card sales. Our fundraising dollars this year have allowed us to offer free and reduced clinics, purchase dome space for our program, and purchase new equipment for our teams.

This year, all players will be required to sell five (5) cards. You will be charged $100 for the cards when you register. As you sell them, the money is yours to keep. These cards will be given to you at the beginning of March, so please watch your email for distribution.
